1. Who we are

HeyBEO ("we", "us") lets event and hospitality teams create, manage and share Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).

2. Data we collect

• Account data - name, email address, profile picture (when provided by your sign-in provider), job title and language preference, provided when you sign up or complete onboarding.
• Workspace content - the BEOs, templates and workspace settings you create in the app.
• Usage data - product analytics events (pages viewed, features used) and technical error reports, used to improve the service.
• Cookies - we use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to measure product usage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

3. Sign-in with Google or Microsoft

When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive only your basic profile information: your name, email address and profile picture. We use it exclusively to create and authenticate your HeyBEO account. We do not request access to your files, contacts, calendar or any other data from these providers.

HeyBEO's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We never sell Google user data, never use it for advertising, and never transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide the service.

4. How we use your data

• Provide, operate and secure the service
• Send transactional emails (account verification, password reset)
• Understand product usage to improve features
• Diagnose and fix bugs and errors

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

5. Service providers

We rely on a small number of service providers to operate HeyBEO, in the following categories: cloud hosting, database hosting, transactional email delivery, product analytics and error monitoring.

These providers process data on our behalf and only as required to deliver their service.

6. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to, we delete your personal data and workspace content, except where we are legally required to retain it.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict the processing of, and delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@heybeo.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the date above.
